Data Protection Declaration
Within the scope of the use of our website, no personal data (hereinafter only "data") are processed. A processing represents here basically every way of handling these data. In the following, you will therefore receive information on the processing of your data within the scope of use by Verkehrsunfallforschung an der TU Dresden GmbH on the basis of the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO) and the applicable federal and state data protection laws.
A) Purposes and legal basis of our data processing
1. Email contact
On our website, there are different options available to establish contact via the email address provided. Your collected personal data, in particular your email address, is stored. This data will not be passed on to third parties. It will only be used for processing your inquiry. The legal basis for processing of data is letter f of Article 6 (1) sentence 1 of the GDPR. Legitimate interest in processing data lies in establishing contact. Any data stored will be deleted once the purpose of the communication has ceased. When an inquiry has been processed, this data will be deleted after expiration of the retention period provided for this purpose.
2. IT security
Finally, we also process data in both our interests in order to guarantee the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the data processing systems, i.e. in particular to provide the security and availability of your data at VUFO GmbH. Our website and our app cannot be used without processing data. The processing of this data is legally based on letter f of Article 6(1) sentence 1 of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in maintaining and safely providing our services.
B) Transfer of data beyond EU borders
Data we collect will only be stored by servers in the European Union and it will not be transferred to companies outside the European Union unless you agree. This also applies to service providers commissioned by us for the purpose of data processing with the exception of the service providers listed below.
C) Data receiver
Your data will only be transferred via a secure connection.
To be able to offer you all available functions, we also use service providers who will process data on our behalf. We will only pass on data within the framework of legally authorised service providers which have been carefully selected and commissioned in writing by us. They will only receive data which will be necessary to complete the order.
The following contractors will be included: Identification service providers, software developers, server hosts, customer support.
D) Duration of data storage
For all processing operations, the length of time of data storage is determined on the basis of a balance of interests or consent given in the previous list of processing operations. When data is processed on the basis of a contract, it will be deleted after execution of the contract unless we are legally obligated to further store or retain your information. As long as your data is required for processing outstanding transactions, this data will be deleted after the processing of these transactions has been completed.
E) External contents
Our website contains links to external websites of third parties, on whose contents we have no influence. We cannot provide any guarantee for these external contents. The external provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking. Illegal contents were not identified at the time of linking. Should we notice any legal violations, we will remove the relevant link immediately.

All data stored or any order processors used by us are protected against unauthorized access, loss and alteration in accordance with current security standards.
